A Message from our Mayor – the Honorable Perry Franks
Our city is a sparkling jewel sitting in the foothills of the Northwest Alabama mountain region. Our history is long and colorful and we would love to share it with you here through our community website.
Brilliant, established in 1927, began as a small coal-mining town. To honor our past we now proudly host an annual arts and crafts festival known as Coal Fest each May. Read more about Coal Fest
